Facebook Advertising Strategy – Optimize FB Ads 2018

Facebook Advertising Strategy – Optimize FB Ads for 2018
Do you know what your Facebook Advertising Strategy is going to be for 2018?
Facebook has recently made more changes to the ad platform and you need to make sure you are staying on top of the game when it comes to optimizing your facebook ads in 2018.

In this video, I will be breaking down the best facebook advertising strategy for 2018 and what you need to do to create highly successful campaigns.

Some of these Facebook ad strategies might be known to some of you, but there is a certain way to implement them in your campaigns so you are getting the full effect.

Here’s the quick list of the best Facebook Ads Strategies for 2018:

Social Stacking – this is my #1 secret for FB advertising in 2018. If you’re not doing this, you need to start NOW! Essentially, you are running 1 ad, but you are running multiple different “ad sets” to this 1 specific ad. The reason you do this is because all the social proof is on 1 ad. This strategy alone could improve your Facebook ads by 10x.

Lead Touch Stacking – I’ve somewhat coined this term, but many other marketers use this technique and it works! This is the practice of adding your leads into multiple different systems. For instance, if someone signs up to one of your offers, you will want to put them on your email list, many chat, Facebook group, etc. Take every product, video or piece of content you have, and when people sign up to your offers, make sure you are giving them the opportunity to get inside each of these touch points.

Lookalike Audiences – You’ve heard of it before, but now you need to hit groups of about 2 to 6 million people. Run a conversion campaign to this audience and let it run forever. ONLY run this ad to a small offer that is low cost. Don’t run this ad to an expensive product. This is a great way to start growing your list from a cold audience. Start your Facebook Ad budget at $5 or $10 until it starts converting.

Retarget Inside Instagram and Facebook – You can now advertise to people based on the users engagement. This includes watching videos or if they visited one of your pages. For instance, if you have an Instagram page, you can select this audience in Facebook and target people who have visited this page in the past 30 days. Setup some new ads using this strategy if you have a page with a lot of traffic and put a great offer in front of them.

Stronger Offers – I can’t stress this enough and it’s one of the most overlooked aspects of marketing in general, but you need to make STRONGER OFFERS. It doesn’t matter if you have the best targeting setup, ad image, etc. If you can’t make a great headline and give your audience something they “actually want” then don’t even bother. Figure out what your audience wants, build it, then serve it to them. It’s really that simple. If you just provide the same service or offer as all of your competitors, you will be beating your head against the wall trying to get conversions. Take risks and test new Facebook ads every week.

Facebook Video Ads – This is a great opportunity to get lower cost per action. 2018 is the time to focus on making your videos better as this type of content is being consumed more and more everyday. Image ads still work great, but video opens up new doors to retargeting people who view your ads. For instance, you can shoot a new video ad and only show it to people who watched 75% of one of your other video ads. That group is your warmest audience and the conversions here will be way higher. Go out there and try it.

Mobile News Feed – I always setup ads and create an ad set that only targets the mobile new feed. Turn off instagram, Audience network and all of the above. You can keep the suggested videos on, but make sure you are running your video ads on mobile only. Setup the same ad with 2 different ad sets to A/B test this and see for yourself. I can almost guarantee your CPC will be greater and conversions as well.

Facebook Lead Forms – I use to hate them…now I love them. Facebook lead forms are converting for certain niches and it’s working GREAT! For example, real estate buyers leads are so easy to setup with a Facebook Lead form. I believe part of the success here is because they don’t have to leave Facebook to enter their information. Time is key here. People don’t want to click away from Facebook, so if you can give them what they want within 30 to 60 seconds, they will take action.
Instagram Stories – I recommend if you are trying to reach a new audience and you can target your audience easily by targeting your competitor, run IG stories! But be sure to have animation saying to SWIPE UP!
So that’s my best Facebook Advertising Strategies for 2018 with all my tips on how you can optimize your ads.

Free Download Online Business Quickstart Guide

I’ve been getting a LOT of questions this week about what Startup Society is, who it’s for, and how it works. And I figured you might be wondering some of these same things ðŸ™‚
So, without further ado, here are answers to some of the questions I’ve gotten the most!

What is Startup Society?

Startup Society teaches you absolutely everything you need to know to start a profitable online business and reach your biggest goals. It’s the perfect mix of an online training program and a supportive, inspiring community.

How does it work?

  • Once you join, you’ll get access to our membership portal, which includes a library of online training courses, access to our membership community, and a whole lot more!
  • You’ll start by taking our Startup Success Quiz, which will guide you to understand exactly where you’re at in the process of building your biz, and tell you what to focus on next.
  • Then, you’ll have the opportunity to join us LIVE for Startup Success, our member-exclusive comprehensive online business course!
  • Throughout your membership, you’ll continue to get support, encouragement, and accountability through our monthly mastermind group coaching and community.
Ready to join us? Here’s the link >> https://www.gillianperkins.com/join-startup-society/

How much does it cost?

I think the reason so many people have been asking this question is because it sounds like it should cost a bundle! But… it doesn’t. ðŸ™‚ That’s because I recognize that those who will benefit from the training the very most might not have a lot to invest.
So, while the value of a Startup Society membership is well over $3000, I’ve chosen to offer it all for just $33/month.
I don’t know if we’ll ever offer it at this crazy-low price again, but if you sign up now then you’ll be able to lock in your membership at this rate forever. ðŸ™‚

Are the videos live?

Nope, you can watch them at any time! We have members all over the world, so I knew it was important to offer the courses on a schedule that would work for everyone. Plus, you’ll probably want to go back and review them over and over again!
Therefore, all of the training courses are comprised of pre-recorded videos + workbooks and other resources.
We also have LIVE mastermind sessions on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. These allow you to ask all your questions and get coached! But, if you can’t make it live, that’s okay too. You’ll still have access to the recorded replays in the mastermind archives.

Who’s it for?

Let me start by saying… it’s not for everyone. Startup Society is for motivated entrepreneurs who are ready to take actioand build online businesses. If this sounds like you, then we’d love to have you join us!
It might NOT be the best fit for you if you aren’t yet ready to start building your business, if you run a local (not online) business, or if you’re looking for a way to “get rich quick.”
Building anything meaningful (and sustainable) takes time, and building a business is no exception. We want members who recognize this and are committed to their goals long-term.

What if I can’t decide whether or not to join?

I’d say… if it’s not what you’re looking for, you can always cancel. ðŸ™‚ We offer a flexible, cancel-whenever-you-like policy, because we’d never want you to feel stuck if it wasn’t a great fit for you.
So, if you’re on the fence, just give us a try! You can jump into the community, get to know the other members, take some (or all!) of the courses, and then leave if you decide it’s not for you. ðŸ™‚

The #1 reason you should join:

You have BIG dreams and you’re ready to take action and make them happen. But getting started can be tough — especially when you don’t know WHERE to even begin. Startup Society gives you clear action plans and all the tools you need for success.

Have more questions?

This post answers some of the most common questions we’ve gotten this past week, but there might still be things you wonder. I’d love to help you get the answers you’re looking for! Click here to send me your questions. I’ll get back to you within 24 hours. ðŸ™‚
On the other hand, if all your questions have been answered and you’re ready to join us inside Startup Society, then what are you waiting for?? Here’s the link to sign up now >> https://www.gillianperkins.com/join-startup-societ…

Easy Facebook Ads 2018

Get Your FREE Copy of the  Social Media Marketing Industry Report

#1: Get to Know Your Ideal Customers

Facebook is a crowded space and you have only a split second to get someone’s attention. You need to craft a message that will stop your target audience from scrolling past.
You can do this only if you know your audience well. Find out what matters to them about the problem you can help solve, how they feel about it, how they feel after solving it, what questions they have, and the language they use to talk about it.
Gather this information from conversations with customers (or prospects) and from listening to conversations in relevant Facebook or LinkedIn groups, online forums, and on Twitter. This information will help you create more effective ads and landing pages.

#2: Create a Freebie Your Customers Will Love

Giving away something valuable to your target audience will help you attract your ideal customers in a non-salesy wayOffer a free gift that will get people one step closer to solving their problem (or achieving their dream). This freebie is often known as a “lead magnet.”
You want people to accept your gift and actually use it. That way they’ll quickly see you as an expert who offers value and start to trust you. The best freebies are quick and easy to consume (a short checklist, template, or video) and focus on helping with one small part of the problem or dream, or an introduction to how you work.
They’re also designed to make a great first impression and relate to the product or service you offer. (This is the first step in a journey that leads to you offering your paid product or service.)
If you’re not sure what to offer, collect the most common questions you hear, ask your audience on social media what they would find helpful, or have real-life conversations. It might be tempting to offer a generic “10 Top Tips,” but this is a real chance for you to stand out from the crowd.

#3: Set Up a Squeeze Page and Thank-you Page on Your Site

You need to get your freebie out to as many people as possible. To do this with Facebook ads, you’ll need to host your offer on a web page that allows people to opt in and give you their email address for delivery.
The best type of web page for this is called a “squeeze page,” because it squeezes the visitor to make a decision either to opt in or leave. It has none of the usual navigation associated with a page on your website
There are many software options available to help you build these pages quickly and easily, including LeadpagesONTRAPORTInstapageClickFunnels, and the Thrive Themes plugin. These tools have tried and tested templates and will seamlessly integrate with your email marketing provider.
A simple page often provides the best results. You want to clearly convey the benefits of your freebie to visitors. The more you talk about how the results will make people feel, the more likely they’ll say yes and opt in. Here’s a standard layout for a squeeze page.
Remember to include a privacy statement explaining that you’ll keep their data safe and not spam them. Also provide a link to your terms and conditionsDon’t add pop-ups or any tricks designed to stop visitors from leaving the page; your Facebook ads won’t run if you do this.
You’ll also need to create a thank-you page to serve visitors who opt in to receive your freebie.

#4: Add the Facebook Pixel to Your Squeeze and Thank-you Pages

The Facebook pixel is a piece of code (called a “cookie”) that Facebook provides. Once it’s in place on your website, you can track actions that take place on your web pages and link them back to your Facebook ad accounts.
In your Facebook Ads Managernavigate to Pixels under Assets......

Getting Started with Victoria for Android Development

Setting Up the Android Development Environment

Supported development platforms
  • The Vuforia SDK officially supports Android OS 4.1 and above, and OpenGL ES 2 and 3.
  • The recommended development environment is Microsoft Windows 7 or 8 32/64-bit.
  • The components of the build environment (JDK, Android Studio, Android SDK / NDK) are available for multiple platforms.
Note: This setup guide has been written for the Win7 32/64-bit platform with special notes for other operating systems.
Steps:
If you have already set up the Android SDK and NDK, go directly to Installing the Vuforia Android SDK
The Vuforia SDK requires the Android SDK and the NDK. The Android NDK is an extension of the Android SDK that allows Android developers to build performance-critical parts of their applications in native code. The SDK and NDK communicate over the Java Native Interface (JNI).
To set up the development environment, install these components in the following order, using the latest versions of the tools with the Vuforia SDK:
  1. JDK (Java SE)
  2. Android Studio IDE
  3. Android SDK packages
  4. Cygwin environment
  5. Android NDK
  6. Android Studio

Android Studio provides everything you need to start developing apps for Android, including the Android Studio IDE and the Android SDK tools.
    1. Download the Android Studio installer from: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
    2. Once the download has completed, run the installer executable and follow the installation instructions to install the IDE in the destination directory of your choice (e.g. C:\Program Files\Android\Android Studio ); in particular, pay attention to the following steps:
      • In the Select components to install page, make sure that Android SDK option is selected;
      • In the Configuration Settings Install Locations page of the install wizard, specify the location where you want to install the Android SDK; we suggest to set it to a location like C:\Development\Android\android-sdk , where C:\Development\Android represents the base directory of your Android development environment; this is also the directory where you will want to install the Android NDK, as discussed later in this guide (note: we will refer to such base directory as <DEVELOPMENT_ROOT> in the remainder of this guide)
